Product Details

As a river meanders through a valley it's rhythmic flow brings destruction and new life. All things in nature are either growing or decaying. This piece celebrates the power of growth and new beginnings.

The ferns are carved from spalted maple and red cedar. Each tree along the river edge was individually cut and carved from birch then hand painted. The frame was crafted with 50+ pieces of red cedar fence scraps, breathing new life into old wood.
